Steal a Car Tier List
Rarity ranks for passive income and which cars to steal first.
This Steal a Car tier list ranks car rarities for Turbo Heist’s Roblox tycoon: what to buy from the conveyor, what to steal from enemy bases, and what to protect when your lock drops. Higher rarity generally means higher passive cash once the car sits in your garage. Paint jobs multiply that income further—community testing often cites pink around 6x and yellow around 8.5x—so a mid rarity with great paint can out-earn an unpainted higher tier in the short term.
Use this hub with Getting Started, How to Steal, How to Defend, and How to Paint when multipliers flip the math. Servers hold only 8 players, so every pad you leave unlocked is a public invitation.
Ranking criteria
- Income — cash per second while parked in your garage
- Steal priority — how hard you should contest an unlocked base that shows this rarity
- Buy priority — whether the conveyor price is worth spending versus saving for rebirth
- Defense priority — which pads you stand next to when lock is down
S tier is “drop everything.” F tier is “only if the slot is empty and cash is burning a hole.”
S tier — Secret & Divine
Secret and Divine cars sit at the top of the income curve. If you see either on an unlocked pad, that steal is the session highlight. Expect owners to slap-spam, call friends, and re-lock the second the timer allows.
Play pattern
- Steal: highest priority; clear a straight path home before you grab
- Buy: purchase immediately if the belt ever offers one you can afford
- Defend: stand on the pad, lock early, and read defense tactics
- Paint: yellow/pink on these rarities creates absurd income spikes
Do not AFK with Secrets unlocked. In an 8-player lobby someone is always watching ESP—or just their eyes.
A tier — Mythical / Mythic
Mythical (sometimes labeled Mythic) is the grind goal for mid-late players. Strong income, common enough to appear in contested bases, rare enough that losing one hurts.
Play pattern
- Steal when the route is clean; abort if two defenders camp the exit
- Buy when price does not delay a planned rebirth
- Keep at least one Mythical as a “never sell” earner unless a Divine/Secret replaces it
B tier — Legendary
Legendary cars are the backbone of a healthy garage before Mythicals show up. They fund rebirth cash walls and still attract thieves.
Play pattern
- Steal Legends from neighbors when Divines are locked
- Buy aggressively early; later, only upgrade empty slots
- Paint Legends if you cannot afford to paint a Mythical yet—multipliers scale whatever you own
C tier — Epic
Epic bridges starter income and serious tycoon play. Great for first-hour progression and filler slots after a rebirth wipes cash.
Play pattern
- Steal Epics on the way past a base if the owner is distracted
- Buy Epics freely until your garage has a Legendary+ core
- Replace Epics once Mythicals arrive unless paint makes an Epic oddly strong
D tier — Rare
Rare cars are early-game fuel. Grab them to start ticks while you learn prompts and lock timing.
Play pattern
- Buy Rares when Commons are the only alternative
- Steal Rares only if the base is empty and the path is short
- Sell or overwrite Rares as soon as Epics/Legendaries appear
F tier — Common
Common cars exist to teach the loop. They generate little, clutter slots, and are not worth a contested chase.
Play pattern
- Buy one or two only to start income on a fresh account (see Getting Started)
- Never cross the map for a Common steal
- Auto-buy scripts that spam Commons will stall you—filter them in the Scripts Hub or turn auto-buy off

Paint multipliers and effective tier
Paint can move a car “up a tier” in effective cash:
- Pink — about 6x income in community testing
- Yellow — about 8.5x income in community testing
- Other colors vary by update; always compare the car’s income tooltip before/after spray
A painted Legendary can beat a naked Epic/Mythical on raw ticks. Before spending Robux, watch economy showcases (and our linked video on the Wiki overview) and decide whether paint or another rebirth unlocks more progress.
Steal priority flowchart
- Is the base unlocked? If no, wait or bait—do not eat slap for free.
- Highest rarity pad first (Secret → Divine → Mythical → Legendary → Epic).
- Prefer cars closest to the exit if two pads share a tier.
- Escape toward your base; teleport home if available after the car is secured.
- Lock immediately; see How to Steal for full timing.
Buy priority after rebirth
Fresh rebirths leave you cash-poor with multipliers active. Refill order:
- Cheapest car that is at least Rare/Epic to restart ticks
- First Legendary you can afford
- Save toward Mythical instead of six Commons
- Gear from the shop unlocked by rebirth (slaps, coils) before vanity
Defense priority when lock expires
Stand near your highest tier pad, not the door decoration. Thieves path to Secret/Divine first. If you must leave, lock on cooldown and clear tools—details in How to Defend.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Steal a Car questions.
What is the best car rarity in Steal a Car?
Secret and Divine sit in S tier for income and steal priority. Mythical follows closely in A tier. Always check paint multipliers too—yellow and pink can spike earnings.
Should I steal Legendaries or wait for Mythicals?
Steal Legendaries when higher pads are locked or empty. Contest Mythicals/Divines/Secrets whenever the base is unlocked and your escape path is clear. See How to Steal.
Do paint jobs change the tier list?
Paint does not change rarity tags, but pink (~6x) and yellow (~8.5x) multipliers can make a lower rarity out-earn an unpainted higher one until you upgrade.
Are Commons ever worth buying?
Only to start income on a brand-new account. Replace them quickly with Rares and Epics as described in Getting Started.
How often is this Steal a Car tier list updated?
After economy or rarity patches noted on the Updates Hub. Core order (Common → Secret) has stayed stable since launch.
